School Board Members


Lois Hubanks - Area 1

Ms. Lois Hubanks grew up in Denver, Colorado. She majored in Physical Education at Greeley College in Colorardo; now know as Northern Colorado University. Mrs. Hubanks was recruited to the beautiful sunny San Joaquin Valley as a Physical Education teacher at Lemoore High School where she taught for 34 years. 

Throughout her 34 years, she started the Girls Gymnastics program, coached Diving, and was head of her department.

She was elected to the Lemoore High School Board in 2002 and inducted into the Lemoore High School Hall of Fame in 2006. She is very active with all activities at Lemoore High School and it is said that she “bleeds purple and gold”.

Mrs. Lois Hubanks in Lemoore and both of her children graduated from Lemoore High School. In her spare time, she enjoys her two granddaughters and grandson.  She enjoys substitute teaching at the primary level and gardening.

Jeanne Castadio - Area 2

Jeanne Burrows-Castadio was born in Visalia, CA and raised in Lemoore. She attended Lemoore schools including Lemoore High School which she holds very near and dear to her heart. She is a second generation alumni of Lemoore High School and is second in her family to hold a seat on the board of trustees, as her grandfather Val Burrows was a trustee in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s. Jeanne and her husband Brian have raised four children together. They are all graduates of Lemoore High.

Jeanne is corporate secretary for her family’s business, G.V. Burrows, Inc., and has a wealth of knowledge in making financial decisions, including budgets and purchasing, as well as employment decisions.

As a board member she has volunteered countless hours in fundraising and supporting various student activities including sports dinners, senior exit interviews, proctoring tests, orientation, and Sober Grad.

Jeanne was elected to the Lemoore High School District board of trustee’s in 2012. She strives to do her best in making the correct decisions for the well-being of the students, staff and faculty of the district as well as for the community of Lemoore.

Dr. Guadalupe Solis - Area 3

Dr. Guadalupe Solis has been a long time resident of Lemoore. Dr. Solis retired as the Deputy Superintendent of Instructional Services for Tulare County Office of Educaiton. He has served as an educator for over forty years mainly in Kings and Tulare counties. His educational roles have been as an elementary and high school teacher, track and cross country Coach, adjunct professor, Lemoore High School Principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent of a school district.
Dr. Solis and his wife raised two children who attended Lemoore Schools. His granchildren currently attend Lemoore Schools. Dr. Solis is committed to the art of teaching and using active pedagogy to grow the minds of all students. "We must challenge our students to dream beyond their potential, work hard and become the next generation of world stewards."

John Droogh - Board Clerk - Area 4

John was born in Lynwood, CA and moved with his family to Lemoore in 1974. He attended high school at Lemoore High and graduated with the class of 1979. He has been serving on the Lemoore Union High School District Board of Trustees since 2013.
John has owned and operated a dairy and farm in Lemoore since 1980. He is a member of the Lemoore FFA Boosters Club, Riverdale Lions Club President, and coached soccer in the community for more than 20 years. His most recent honor was being selected as Kings County Dairy Family of the year for 2015-16.

He and his wife Collete have four daughters that have all graduated from LHS. His oldest graduated from San Diego State University, go Aztecs. His second daughter from Cal Poly, SLO, go Mustangs. His third from University of Califonia Santa Barbara, go Gauchos, and the fourth from Washington State University, go Cougs. John will always continue to support Lemoore High School, Go TIGERS!!!

Jason Orton - Board President -Area 5

Jason Orton grew up on a farm in Stratford, California and is one of five generations of his family to have attended Lemoore High School.  He attended Fresno State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Studies from Fresno Pacific University. Jason has completed industry training programs at The Ohio State University’s Agricultural Technical Institute and Texas A & M’s Industrial Development program.

He currently is part owner of Orton’s Equipment Company, a farm equipment business in Stratford that has been in his family for over 110 years. 
Jason and his wife Christa have four children. Their oldest is a graduate of LHS and is attending BYU Idaho. Their youngest daughter and son attend Lemoore High School.  

Jason volunteers as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Lemoore Troop 461, Boy Scouts of America and is a member of SHRM of Tulare/Kings Counties.
