Superintendent
Dear LUHSD Families and Community Members,
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! On behalf of the Lemoore Union High School District, I hope our students and families enjoyed a restful summer and are ready for a year filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities.
The beginning of a new school year brings renewed optimism and reminds us of what is possible when our schools, families, and community work together. Across Lemoore High School, Jamison High School, Lemoore Middle College High School, and Lemoore Online Preparatory High School, we remain committed to providing students with multiple pathways to success and the support they need to thrive.
Last year was one of meaningful growth and achievement throughout our district. We strengthened teaching and learning through Universal Design for Learning, Professional Learning Communities, MTSS, and AVID. Our schools earned recognition for excellence, and our students distinguished themselves in academics, athletics, the arts, career technical education, leadership, and community service. These accomplishments reflect the hard work of our students and staff, along with the continued encouragement and partnership of our families and community.
This year, we will continue bringing our Mission and Vision to life by creating learning experiences that inspire curiosity, persistence, resilience, and innovative thinking. We will also continue developing our Portrait of a Graduate so that every student leaves LUHSD prepared for college, a career, and life beyond high school.
Student success is a shared responsibility. We invite parents, guardians, alumni, local businesses, and community organizations to remain engaged with our schools, celebrate our students, and partner with us as we create opportunities for every learner. Your involvement, encouragement, and trust make a lasting difference.
Thank you for your continued support of the Lemoore Union High School District. I look forward to another year of learning, growth, and achievement as we work together in service of our students.
Sincerely,
Dr. Miguel A. Guerrero
